General Chapel Rules:

Arrival & Leaving Times

Leave no later than 10am

Arrive no earlier than 1pm (13.00hrs)

 

Please try and call when you get through Paris or Rouen to give us your ETA.

 

Please respect the Lake, the Lake surroundings and the Buildings and Facilities.

 

Your own life jackets MUST be worn when using the boats.

 

Boats are used at your own risk.

 

No Litter. Bag up your litter, rubbish, fag ends etc and deposit it in the bins.

 

No Open Fires. Coleman Stoves or similar only. Do NOT discard cigarettes or matches or burning materials. Make sure they are put out and in a container holding water, NOT the Lake, and removed from the venue when you leave.

This is a High Risk Fire Area.

 

No Swimming, No Pruning or Weeding

 

Owner or Owners Agent may inspect any rig at any time.

 

You can call us if you catch a whopper or need something.

A Security Deposit of 100€ to be paid on arrival. Fishing Rules

 

3 rods per angler. Please feel free to whip out an additional stalking rod.

 

Rods must NOT be left unattended at any time.

 

Hooks must be barbless or pinched.

 

No lead core or shock leaders. Safety Rigs only please.

 

No fixed rigs whatsoever.

 

Braid Mainline is only allowed if Tube Covered and is NOT allowed on its own.

 

Large and wetted Unhooking Mats, MUST be used. Big Fish need Big mats, Tight Lines!

 

A large Landing Net, 42”+, must be used. There are some big old boys in there!

 

You must have a good antiseptic such as Klinik and use as necessary on hook-holds, cuts and abrasions. This can be purchased from the Bailiff or pre-ordered.

 

No Sacking of Fish. All fish must be returned to the Lake in Weigh Sling or Unhooking Mat and definitely NOT with bare hands. For photos or verification by Bailiff, please keep the fish in a Large Landing Net in the water.

 

No Standing up holding the fish, even for photos.

 

No Nuts, No Particles and No Live Bait.

 

The only Pellets to be used are designated Carp Pellets.

 

In order to maintain this venue, a ‘2 strikes and your out’ policy is adopted by us.

 

We want you to have fun and enjoy your fishing at this Lake. So we ask that you adhere to these Rules which are applied to preserve the Fish, the Lake, the Environment the Lake sits in and the Facilities provided for all to enjoy.

Please leave the Lake and Facilities how you would like and expect to find them.
